I am an ecologist and conservationist interested in the interface between ecology, animal behaviour, and the human dimensions of conservation.
I am currently a postdoctoral research fellow in the Computational Movement Ecology Group at the University of Glasgow, studying the effects of anthropogenic disturbance on the behaviour and population dynamics of migratory wildebeest in the Serengeti.
Previously, I was a postdoctoral research fellow at the University of Stirling, modelling the spatial patterns and drivers of tree pest and disease occurrence in UK forests.
I undertook my PhD with the Durham Invasion Science Lab and the Conservation Ecology Group at Durham University, on the impacts of invasive prickly pear cacti (Opuntia sp.) in Laikipia County, Kenya. As part of this project I created Prickly Pear Project Kenya on Zooniverse.
